Lake Luzerne, NY – Regional and local IT professionals were on hand today at the Double H Ranch to present gifts for campers, aged six to 16, all of whom are dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
Representatives from Microsoft, SAGE Computer Associates and Squiggout Web Designs also toured the newly wired facilities. SAGE, using Microsoft products, designed, installed and supports the computer system at Double H Ranch to better track health and safety concerns for campers across the entire facility, as well as to improve fundraising capabilities.
Microsoft NE Area General Manager Brian Neirby presented the Double H Ranch with a Microsoft Xbox 360, and SAGE and Squiggout Web Designs supplemented the popular gaming system with an LCD TV monitor.
“We really wanted to work with a vendor that could communicate in plain language while addressing our computer network needs with a sophisticated touch,” said Eileen Nash, Double H Ranch’s Director of Development. “SAGE Computer Associates answered that call, significantly improving our fundraising capabilities and our ability to securely and reliably handle camper records.”
“The Double H Ranch is truly a remarkable organization, and we’re pleased to be able to share the camp and its work with our peers in the IT industry,” said Cohn. “This is an excellent reminder that all organizations, including nonprofits and small business, can realize significant benefit through a secure, reliable and productive computer environment.”
