Albany, N.Y. – SAGE Computer Associates, Inc. has promoted R. Daniel Shyne to Manager of Technical Services. In his new position with the computer networking and support firm, Shyne will manage the technical resources at SAGE to provide support and consulting services for their business and education clients.
Previously, Shyne was a senior network engineer for the company, specializing in network design, installation and support, as well as firewall configuration. He also holds Citrix certification for their Presentation Server secure access solutions.
Prior to joining SAGE Computer Associates, Shyne served as the computer network manager for the Enlarged School District of Troy, where he managed operations of a large Macintosh/Windows NT/Novell computer network.
Shyne earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the State University of New York at Oswego and holds an MBA from the University at Albany. Additionally, he has earned Cisco certifications from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. |
