SAGE Computer Associates Wins Business Solutions Magazine’s 2009 Channel Innovator Award

ALBANY, N.Y.—May 14, 2009— SAGE Computer Associates, Inc. recently received notification they had won Business Solutions magazine’s 2009 Channel Innovator Award in the Network Security category. SAGE Computer Associates a value added reseller of AppRiver’s software-as-a-service was selected for its noteworthy use of AppRiver’s hosted Exchange email service with SecureTide™ spam and virus protection for an implementation at a medical center that needed an email system with secure mobile communication.

SAGE was selected as this year’s network security award recipient for its ability to quickly and thoroughly implement AppRiver’s secure hosted Exchange technology at a cancer treatment facility. The doctors and other care providers rely on computers for electronic medical records, communication and research, and must be able to get emails no matter where they are—at the office, in one of several hospitals or anywhere in between. Using the AppRiver solution, they have a centralized, secure email system with the ability to automatically synchronize email, appointments, contacts and tasks on a mobile device.
